Mohave College women’s soccer played to scoreless draw at Southern Nevada
The Mohave College Women’s Soccer team finished with a 0-0 draw on the road Saturday, Sept. 6 against the College of Southern Nevada.
MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave College Women’s Soccer team finished with a 0-0 draw on the road Saturday, Sept. 6 against the College of Southern Nevada.
The Bighorns created more chances in the second half, outshooting Southern Nevada 10-6 and finishing with 13 shots overall. Paola Cruz led the team with five shots, while Estephanie Montiel-Silva added four.
Goalkeeper Evelyn Montiel-Silva recorded four saves to post her second shutout of the season. Southern Nevada took nine shots, with four on goal, but Mohave’s defense held firm.
The Bighorns remain unbeaten overall and now look ahead to two upcoming home games, first Saturday, Sept. 13, 6 p.m. against Long Beach Community College, and then Saturday, Sept. 20, 4:30 p.m. against Eastern Arizona College.
