Mohave College men continue their winning streak with 4-1 victory at Southern Nevada
The Mohave College Men’s Soccer team picked up another win Saturday night, defeating the College of Southern Nevada 4-1 on the road.
MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave College Men’s Soccer team picked up another win Saturday night, defeating the College of Southern Nevada 4-1 on the road.
Mohave scored three times in the first half to take control. Ethan Harris opened the scoring at 12:21, Alan Salgado followed at 16:15, and Mauricio Velazquez added a goal at 24:50 assisted by Alan Salgado. Lazzar Ramos added the fourth goal in the second half at 60:08, assisted by Nolan Garcia.
The Bighorns outshot Southern Nevada 15 to 7 and recorded eight corner kicks. Goalkeepers Chase Radford and Pablo Saavedra combined for four saves to secure the win.
Mohave remains unbeaten and will return home for two upcoming matches. They host Long Beach Community College, Saturday, Sept. 13, 8 p.m. and Eastern Arizona College Saturday, Sept. 20, 7 p.m.
